Cut to frame without excess, BODHI offers structure in its simplest form. The jacket’s boxy proportions are tempered by a relaxed fall, making room for movement while still holding a defined edge. Designed to be worn both loose or fastened, it shifts effortlessly between fuller coverage and an easy, open wear.

We begin with khadi woven by hand, where the irregularities of spin and tension give the cloth its familiar honesty. Onto this surface, our in-house artisans work with machine embroidery inspired by the neat, linear markings of the bahi-khata ledger. The stitches move in measured lines across the fabric, creating a quiet geometry that echoes the balance and repetition of handwritten accounts. Held together, the khadi and embroidery form a cloth that is simple in appearance yet rich in the rhythm of both tradition and daily work.

Note: Indigo dyeing may leave soft irregularities and a hue that fades gently over time. These reflect slow, mindful craftsmanship, not flaws. Dry crocking — the transfer of colour onto other surfaces when the fabric is dry — may also occur. Please avoid light-coloured clothing until the excess colour has released.
