The wool in this polo neck is ethically harvested from free ranging sheep living the high-life up in the mountains of Hallingdal from June to September. After the harvest, it is respectfully spun and knitted in Italy. The tough fibers from the Norwegian sheep are developed to withstand the rugged climate, and gives this sweater just the right weight and protection for us enjoying the same rugged territory. Like the sheep of the high alpine, this wool is rougher and tougher than our soft merino wool styles, but real adventurers won’t notice.
